Fire Retardant Reflective Aluminium Paper Foil(Fibreglass Reinforced MS APRA K-731) 1.25x45M
Fire Retardant Reflective Aluminium Paper Foil(Fibreglass Reinforced MS APRA K-731) 1.25x45M
The KFOIL MS APRA K731 is a premium reflective foil designed as an Impermeable Vapour Barrier with a superior fire rating. Its construction features a 6-layer assembly of Double Sided pure Aluminium Foil ( pure), reinforced with bi-directional () fiberglass scrim, and laminated with a special formula adhesive and Polyethylene (PE) layer. Its core design principle is sealing, ensuring a building envelope that is robustly protected against external moisture and internal vapor drive.

How It Works (Mechanism):
This foil is a double-sided radiant barrier that reflects up to of radiant heat. The most critical function is its Vapour Barrier property: the 6-layer structure makes it impermeable. When placed on the warm side of a building assembly, it physically blocks all moisture vapor from the interior from reaching the cold structural cavity, preventing condensation, mold, and rot.
Key Use & Core Function:
This product is designed as an Impermeable Vapour Barrier. Its primary job is to be placed on the warm side of insulation (like walls and roofs) to completely block moisture vapor from penetrating the building structure.
Why You Should Buy This (When to Buy):
New Construction: Buy this when you are building a new, well-ventilated structure and need to create a perfect, robust vapour seal on the warm-in-winter side of the insulation assembly.
Mandatory Fire Safety: Choose this when your project requires a Class 0 Fire Retardant rating for general building envelope applications.
Ideal Advantages and Use Cases
Complete Moisture Block: Necessary for climate zones with high humidity or where internal moisture control (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms) is non-negotiable.
Long-Term Structural Integrity: Protects the life of the building materials within the wall or roof assembly.
General Construction: Recommended for metal roofing, concrete/clay tile roofing, building wrapping, and wall/floor insulation where a complete seal is required.
